functional experts in their respective supply chain and operations
specialties.
Jim Curry is CEO of
the OpStat Group. He has been a
management consultant for large multi-national companies in operations
and supply chain improvement since 1987.
Prior to that he held senior positions in the transportation and wine
and spirits industries.
He has conducted engagements in global supply chain management,
distribution, transportation, customer service and international
operations. His clients include
companies in the high tech, pharmaceutical, chemical, consumer and
transportation industries.
He is an Associate Professor at Fairfield University, teaching
graduate courses in supply chain design and lean manufacturing. He has written material for
the Journal of Business Logistics, APICS, Society for Manufacturing
Engineering, American Warehousemen’s Association,
and the Gartner Group. He has
been a speaker at national and regional conferences for the Council of
Logistics Management, Society for Manufacturing Engineering (SME) and APICS, such as
APICS Seminar1 2004, Simulation Modeling in Lean Programs.
He also chairs the SME Simulation Tech Group
SME.ORG/Sim.
Joe Gilbert
has extensive experience in optimizing supply chain processes, leading
large-scale ERP implementations, and managing delivery of benefits.
He has led ERP implementations with accountability for infrastructure,
and developed a unique proven approach for program portfolio management
and process execution discipline.
He has provided
consulting support for, and is expert in, MRP II Class A processes
throughout the supply chain.
He earned his B.S. from LaSalle
University, and his M.S. and Ph. D. degrees in Chemistry from Drexel
University.
Bob Petrich
specializes in world-class business management processes, and has
consulted in the chemical, pharmaceutical and materials industries, with
extensive international experience (Europe and Asia). His work
encompasses the full range of business and supply chain management, with
a particular focus on Demand Management processes and their linkage to
Supply Chain through Sales & Operations Processes.
He earned B. S. and
M. S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from MIT, a Ph. D. in Polymer
Science from University of Akron.
