Value Stream Mapping Expanded to Simulation of Material Flow by OpStat

 

  
By expanding the use of value stream mapping to simulation, the performance of all manufacturing resources may be simulated dynamically over time.  Material flow, information flow and cost accounting are combined in the simulation.

In this example wait times and resource utilization are captured hour by hour over a year’s simulation.
